Creating Team Guides

Team Guides are AI-generated collaboration reports that combine two or more personality profiles into a single, actionable guide. They help your team understand each other's working styles and improve collaboration.

What's in a Team Guide?

Each Team Guide includes:

  • Team Overview A narrative summary of how the included members work together
  • Strengths What the group does well collectively, with specific examples
  • Challenges Potential friction points and areas to be mindful of
  • Communication Tips Practical advice for how the group can communicate more effectively
  • Action Items Prioritized steps the team can take to improve collaboration
  • Profile Summaries A mini-summary of each person's key traits and work style

Requirements

  • Team or Teams Pro subscription is required to create Team Guides
  • At least 2 profiles from the same quiz must be available
  • Profiles must be shared with the team by their owners

How to Create a Team Guide

Team Guides are created using a simple 3-step wizard:

  1. Choose a Quiz — Go to Team Guides in the navigation menu and click "Create Guide". You'll see a list of quizzes that have 2 or more team members' profiles available. Select the quiz you want to base the guide on.
  2. Select Profiles — Choose which team members to include. You need at least 2 profiles. Select the people whose working dynamics you want to explore.
  3. Generate — Review the auto-generated title (you can edit it), then click "Generate Guide". The AI will analyze the selected profiles and create your guide.

Personal Guides

You can also create Personal Guides from profiles that have been shared with you directly (not just through a team). Personal Guides work the same way but are private to you.

  • Individual Pro or higher subscription is required
  • Uses your own profiles plus profiles shared directly with you
  • Access Personal Guides from the Team Guides page under the "Personal" tab

Viewing and Managing Guides

All your guides appear on the Team Guides page:

  • Team tab — Guides created for your team (visible to all team members)
  • Personal tab — Guides you've created for yourself
  • Rename a guide by clicking edit on the guide detail page
  • Delete a guide if you created it, or if you're a team admin/owner

Providing Feedback

After reading a guide, you can provide feedback to help improve future guides:

  • Give a thumbs up or down rating
  • Add an optional comment with specific feedback
💡 Tips for Better Guides

Encourage profile sharing — the more profiles shared with the team, the more guide combinations available

Include all relevant members — guides are most useful when they cover everyone in a working group

Create guides for different quizzes — each quiz measures different dimensions, giving you varied insights
